TICKET MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
Alabama 811’s Board of Directors has approved the implementation of a ticket management system for the use of our members. This program will be available after the first of the year. Many of our neighboring state one call centers are also providing a similar service to its members. This program allows our members the opportunity to have an automated web interfaced system to manage their locate requests in a software based system. This program provides such features as: • Access to tickets via the web This type of program allows for better reliability on ticket delivery to our members in that it is a direct link into a web based database. It reduces issues that may occur with email deliveries such as spam filters, server problems, etc. Also in lieu of fax deliveries the tickets can be viewed via the web interface and printed out saving communications costs and fax supplies.
